I've read many posts where people report a lifting of depression after going raw. Does anyone have experience with healing of anxiety? I often find myselft worrying about my job/life issues and feeling overwhelmed. I'm so tired of living this way. Do you feel raw food can be a part of my healing from this?

I found that both my anxiety and depression go hand in hand. The more depressed I am, the more anxious I become. As my depression lifted my anxiety did as well!

When I don't eat raw ,I have major depression & anxiety. It's the only thing that has worked for me. I am a different person on Raw-it's the best form of nutrition.

I know where you are coming from-I get that *overwhelmed* feeling as well as the depression-etc. I truly feel so much better on Raw.

I also take vit B-12-do a search on it as we have a member..Karenisraw-who is the B-12 *Queen*. She has done quite a bit of posts on it. Good luck to you.. :)

oh yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's frustrting b/c yes I believe that depression exists but at the same time it (depression and anxiety)being symptoms of imbalance of the body.

I use to get anxious and cloudy minded about getting things done etc. and I would find myself procrastinating even small things like going to the bank, picking up clothes from the cleaners etc.

Now, I'm starting to feel an ability to do rather than worry. I wakeup feeling ready to function and not be on edge all day.

Pamojamo, how long have you been like this? What happens when you feel like this?

:)

anxiety is really a matter of thinking that something MIGHT happen in the future.

Let me say, that what you FOCUS on, you manifest.

SO, if you THINK you will (fill in the blank) then you are manifesting it.

So, when a thought comes into your mind that is not a positive thought, and causes you to choose to feel anxious about it, think," Oh, cool, my mind is attempting to prepare me for any situation, thank you, but since this may NOT happen, I choose to act as IF that is true." then release the thought.

no matter how many times it comes, up, thank you mind for attempting to prepare you, then release it.

do this as many times as you need to, to release these feelings,

Because all it is is a feeling, not a reality, but if you keep worrrying about it it will become a reality, and we don't want THAT!!

I've been this way as long as I can remember. It's like RP stated as part of this thread: a feeling something bad is going to happen. I hate doing this to myself. I'm starting a May 30 day challenge and hope anxiety will be one of the ailments that I receive healing from.
