Anyone have a Raw Vegan B12 source for children? I have found some multivitains, but they dont have the methylcobalamin B12. Any Vegan Source for Vitamin D? (other than the sun ;) ) I want to supplement these for my son. I've done research online, but there are so many supplement companies, and I've heard so many different things about vitamins etc.. that I would like to know what you may use!!
Thanks in Advance!!

FindingMe,
Hi,
Here is what I use. It says suitable for vegetarians. I find that odd because from what I have read, you can only get methylcobalamin from animal sources. I and another person on this board are in the process of trying to find out what source this particular brand gets their methylcobalamin from.
I also use the Jarrow B-right which might be better for you kids because most people don't typically need 1000 mcg per day unless you are using it for therapeutic purposes. Plus the B-right is formulated so the B-vitamins and other included nutrients work together chemically to optimize its function.

Vegan Vitamin D is called ergocalciferol, or Vitamin D2. There are definitely vegan sources of it available. I take 1,000 mcg a day of Vitamin D...they have linked low levels with MS and I have read that 1,000 is a good daily dose to take.
I take the sublingual B12 too....feel great now that I'm doing that.
You can probably order vegan D2 from veganessentials i bet.
