If there is somewhere close to you or if you know of a place where you can order food or other items online that you need to help you in your raw journey, can you contact me medtrangel@yahoo.com? I can spend $100. So you decide what you want to spend it on and where. Perhaps a gift certificate or something?
NOTE: I am not sure how to do this, so if there is anyone else out there that knows how, please help me to know how I can do this for her.
She is 15 years-old, so I need to do this in a way so that she will not have to put her "information" out here on the net. I have teenagers and I would be livid if I knew anyone had my address or etc...... So, if there is anyone with ideas how I can do this for her, please give me your input. I would like to give her the money or gift certificate ASAP.
Thanks

GoYeThereForRaw.......What an amazing generous and loving spirit you are.....- you have caused me to read this with my heart and I would like to help lunar Fey as well- I can only do $25 maybe www.eatraw.com would let us give them the money by way of our credit card and they could issue her a gift certificate......What do you think?
Let me know and I will do it! :)
Have a GREAT and Blessed Day!

I think that is a good idea, though I would like to know what her needs are mostly. I went to that website, and it seemed to have a good variety, but I got the impression that she really wants regular things too like fruit and veges. I surely wish there was a way to get her a gift certificate at a whole foods market. I will email her to ask her just what she wants us to do, or perhaps she will post it here.

What about a Paypal donation? That might be the easiest way to get her the funds so she can choose what she is wanting.
If you deposit money into a Paypal account and she gets a Paypal debit/credit card, she can use that card anywhere that Visa or Mastercard is accepted...I forget which mine is. Had to check it's a Mastercard.
Anyhow, I think that could be the easiest way. If she doesn't have one set up, they are so easy getting one set up.
Or or, they have Visa or Mastercard gift cards nowadays that you can put cash onto them and then send them to her!! I think that could be the easiest best way to do it. Because then she doesn't have to set up a Paypal account because it has to be attached to a bank account.
Anyways, just throwing out suggestions!
How nice and generous of you all to help her out like this! :)

Thank you for your suggestions. I decided to just send her a gift certificate via the rawfood.com website. I am a mother of teenagers, and I know that I would not want my kids giving out personal information for anyone to send them anything, and I did not want lunar-fey doing this either. Going the way of the certificate meant they would email it to her, and I do not have to know any of her personal information. She can pick out what she wants.
Also, I believe that you have to be at least 18 to have a Pay-pal account, and it is associated with a bank account, and I am not sure if I were her mom how good I would feel about a perfect stranger from the internet sending my kid money. The gift certificate is more like something that she could have won in a drawing or something.
Thanks sharing your ideas though. They were certainly appreciated. Hope this little token will cheer her on and help her to push forward through this hard time.
I remember at the tender age of 12, I came home and announced to my parents I was a vegetarian and that I was NOT eating the nice steak dinner or roast beef my mother had prepared for that night. Needless to say, my announcement did not go over very well. I am blessed now that both my parents are now vegan vegetarian, and I am surely converting them over to raw as well!!!!!!!! So, miracles do happen!!!
