View Full Version : Day 12 raw! Great changes!!
Hi ya'll!
Thanks to everyone who responded to my cry for help a few days ago. I took a couple of vacation days from work and let my body detox. I did not have to add back cooked food because I was able to sleep as much as needed and just go with it. Today I'm returning to work a new woman! I feel like I've awaken from a dream. My thoughts are very different, very positive and life affirming. My body isn't aching from fibromyalgia for the first time in years! The absence of pain is such a blessing I keep getting a rush of emotions and I don't know weather to laugh or cry! My energy is such that I haven't experienced since I did a juice fast 10 yrs. ago. When I started 12 days ago, I also stopped taking all medication I knew I didn't have to take. I'm a pharmacy tech. so I know what I can safely stop cold turkey and what has to be tapered off of. So, I've gone from taking 7 RX's to 2. My doctor's had me take so much stuff trying to help the fibro symptoms! All I have to take now is Armour Thyroid, 60mcg a day (down from 90mcg) and fluoxetine (brand name is prozac), 40mg per day. I've always believed in my heart that there had to be a natural alternative to drugs. I couldn't accept that I would be taking all that crap for the rest of my life. Happily, it looks like I can trust my Heart!! Yea raw food!! :D
Love and thanks to All!

Eventually I will get help to put my picture on here. Then you can all see my big veggie grin! I've done alot of crying in the last two weeks but it is cleansing. I also laugh alot more and I don't feel anxious all the time. More than anything I feel tremendous gratitude to God for carrying me during this change. I couldn't do this without my faith!
Love, Jax (short for Jacqueline).

I've always believed in my heart that there had to be a natural alternative to drugs. I couldn't accept that I would be taking all that crap for the rest of my life. What an interesting quote from a pharmacy tech. I sure hope there are more in the field that think the way you do. :)
I am elated for you. Stick with the raw and before you know it, you'll be off the fluoxetine as well. You already know you are doing GREAT so I don't have to tell you. But one thing I will tell you, it keeps getting better and better as you go on ... easier and easier too! I can't even imagine going back to cooked foods.
Awesome Jax! Simply outstanding!

Jax, I am so happy for you! You've encouraged me all the more to try hard and get off my blood pressure meds. I know it can be done regardless of what the doctors say. Keep it up!

Raw! Raw! Raw!
 I am SO THRILLED for you Jax! And this is only the beginning. Way to go! Thanks for sharing your results, can never have enough iinspiration. Keep us posted pretty please! Blessings of health to you--keep going--contrary to popular believe-the sky is not the limit. ;)
Warmly~
I hope there are others in the pharmacy industry like me too! I see so much sickness every day and much of it is sadly unecessary. I make all the compound pharmacuticals for our pharmacy so I have a real clear picture of how serious Rx's are and what they can do to people. If you want the truth about medicine you are taking, its side affects and how to discontinue anything you've been on long-term, talk to your pharmacist! The doctors prescribe and know what the drug is for but, they rely on the pharmacist alot to council and educate the patient. Dr.s often ask our opinion on starting dosages for new patients or adjusting patients that need a change in RX. I'm talking mostly where compounds are concerned though. About 70% of my compounds are for HRT patients. We make natural hormones which is very effective for our patients. Most books I have on HRT also advocate eating a healthy diet, high in fruits and vegetables! Hmmmmm.
It sounds like that rest was just what you needed, I'm glad the worst of things has passed and you feel as good as you do.
I love hearing these real stories, each one unique, yet all very definite that raw is the way to clear thinking, vitality, energy and peace.

Your news is wonderful. Fantastic. As I like to quote, "nutrients in, toxins out". THere is nothing better for a body on OTC or Perscription Meds than to eat raw. It helps take the burden off the liver.
I feel for you in your employment. I work in the alternative medical field, but my sister works in drug safety. She, like you has a strong belief in the healing properties of food, as well as nutrient supplements. She says that most of the people in her group are anti medication! (and they work for a large well known pharmaceudical company!) I know that there are many meds that do make people's live's liveable, and more "liveable." If they take them, there are lots of things they can do to help support the detox of the meds from the liver. Eating well is one of them. YOu have seen the light, and you are on the right track!
WoooHoo! Hurray! Keep on going, and the reward is waiting...and your story will continue to inspire others...
Cassy.
