I am just curious about this because I have checked my temperature during the day lately and it is around 97. This is when I am at my warmest.
Granted I have struggle with hypothyroidism for many years but I still think this is low for the warmest time of the day.
I will have to check what it is again first thing in the morning and see just how low it is.
I wonder if this is more to do with being raw though.
Thanks

My temp has always been low around 97, before and after Raw. It is my Normal. I have had thyroid and all checked every few yrs and I have no abnormalities. My Dr says it is OK to be low, my normal.

There is an article at Foodnsport.com called "Cool Running" which talks a bit about this issue.

I never take my body temperature so I couldn't tell you specifically, but I have found lately that i am able to take the cold better. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but the other day I was thinking about how I felt more solid and how the cold didn't seem to go through me as easily. I would guess that this means that my temperature is higher.

I feel better able to maintain body warmth on raw as well.
But long before going raw, my body temperature always fluctuates between high 95's and mid 97's, usually in the high 96-low 97 range. You need to take it with a basal thermometer to be sure of the accuracy. I thought this was really odd, but the last time we were at the doctor's office, I asked the nurse about it, and she commented that the 98.6 "average" temperature is actually quite rare. She was the admissions nurse for UCSF hospital (San Francisco), and she said that it was actually rare to get people in the 98 temperature range and that 97 is normal.

my body temp has always been low, and I used to always feel very cold, but I am doing the menapause thingy, so was having hot flashes terribly, until I went back to raw, no hot flashes, no up all night, no problems.
So, I guess my answer to your question, is that my temp is balanced now, but I have no idea what it is.

Actually I heard that that is normal temperature, higher means that body is fighting infection constantly and most SAD eaters have problems.

Wow, that's really interesting! I didn't even notice all this until I started using a basal thermometer to try to find out when I was ovulating. At first, the low temperatures made me wonder what was going on!
Temp aside, my experience was the same as RP. I've been able to feel so much warmer since going raw. I always used to freeze while my husband was always too warm. Now I'm pretty much the same as he is, which is so nice!
