Since the evening seems to be the time when we get those nasty cravings, I thought it would be fun to see what everyone plans on having for dinner. :D
It's best to prepare ahead before those cravings hit! ;)
We are having the raw chili recipe that was posted on the forum
salad
Butter pecan ice cream for snack before bed
What about you? :D

Well dinner is over here and I have just finished 2 pints of green Smoothie and about a quarter of a pinaple. How boring is that.

Do not missunderstand. I did not find it boring. It was what I wanted this evening.
I will probably have a cup of tea and some date nut tort later. I made one this afternoon and covered it with fresh raspberries (like in Alissa's book but almost totally covered). I do not usually put fruit on top so this will be interesting.

Actually, I am waiting on my first fed-ex order from Raw Life Line......My first Raw Pizza delivery....I was hoping it would arrive tonight! But, maybe that will be tomorrow's dinner. Hey, Chai Life you are in Houston too! I am up north in the Woodlands.
Take Care,

Last night was Avo chutney and tonight is carrot pecan burgers with curry sauce and some salad ! But very often it's a green smoothie !

You guys are so awesome! I wish I were more experimental. I chose to just eat really simply...if I have to "make" anything...I'm afraid I'll get worn out and lose the ability to stick with it. (I still have a SAD family to cook for. ;) ) The one thing that raw has going for it...is simplicity. :p For dinner tonight...I had a green cabbage, spinach, mushroom salad with a pear and banana on the side. No muss, no fuss! :D

I made crab cakes and marinated some mushrooms and stuffed the crabcake stuff into the mushrooms and dehydrated those. It was really good, but I could only eat 3 and then it was too rich and it made me sick. So I ended up throwing the rest away! No one else will eat them and they don't keep well for the next day. So next time I will only make a couple of the mushrooms. I still have some of the crab cakes left so tomorrow for lunch I will have that over some greens I think. The crab cakes tasted really good, my 1 year old daughter loved them!
I also made the date nut torte and had some after supper. I might make some ice cream later. Yummy!

My favorite dinner lately is the following salad:
Mixed salad greens (whatever is on hand: romaine, mesclun, arugula, etc)
Lots of chopped tomatoes
Chopped avocado
Tangerine Juice
Yum! That is all I put in it. The avocado and tangerine juice make a nice simple dressing.
