Does anyone know what I could do with the almond pieces that are leftover from making almond milk, the stuff you strain out?
Thanks!!

Well, you can make cinnamon rolls: http://www.purejoylivingfoods.com/recipes/#cinnamonrolls
Use it for the crust of a raw fruit pie; mix it with some ground flax seeds, fruit, honey or dates or agave (which ever sweetener you like), and make some cookies; or just freeze it until you find that special recipe that calls for it! :)

I use them in cookies, smoothies, pies, pates, just about anything including crackers

The cinnamon rolls are a bit flaxy, but even so, I love them! Definitely make the glaze!

The almond leftovers also make an excellent face/body scrub.

Actually, since I didn't know what to do with the almond leftovers the first time I made almond milk, I rubbed them all over my hands. My husband thinks I am pretty funny. He just laughed.
