Welcome Sheila,

I'm in Phx too. I live in Scottsdale and work in Phoenix. Have you attended any of the raw potlucks in the area?

There are actually three different raw food potlucks going on throughout the valley. There's one in Mesa on the 3rd Saturday of each month. There's also a "rawahtukee" potluck in Awahtukee on the 2nd Saturday of each month and one during the Phoenix artwalk.
Have you been to rawsome cafe at Gentle Strenght Co-op? They have a decent raw menu there.
