I'm juicing a lot more than I use to. It's really good. I know juice is best on an empty stomach....but today I was hungry so I nibbled on a couple radishes and two celery stalks while I made my 20 oz. juice for lunch. Not to sound stupid, but is that a "no-no" when juicing?

I am not sure on the answer but I would think it was okay unless you are on a juice fast or something?

Yeah, I know not to do that if I'm on a juice fast, but I'm just talking about replacing a meal with a big juice.

I don't think it's bad. People who are trying to lose weight do that. But if you're not trying to lose weight I'm sure it's fine also, as long as you eat all the calories your body needs.

I'm not an expert, but this is just my opinion

what made you think it was a "no-no"?

Well, I'm trying to "fine tune" my body which does mean to lose some weight (maybe 7-10lbs...more leaness). So, I thought the "no-no" worry came from the idea that my digestion or fullness or maybe metabollism would be different when you eat with a juice vs a totally empty stomach.

I know what I did isn't a bad thing, but when I do juice for a meal, I want to truely benefit from it. Make sense?

I'm using a l'equip 220. I love it. It's easy and makes great juices.
