I just juiced about 32 oz. of oj and I saved the pulp, put it in a freezer bag and now it's in the freezer. I only have a juicer and a blender. What yummy things can I make with this orange pulp?

Oh I also have pulp from carrots, cucumbers, spinich, etc. mixed together in one freezer bag, back from Janruary or February and I still haven't used that yet... any suggestions on what to do with all this pulp?

I'm thinking of using it when I have a "burito". In this case when I let it defrost in the fridge for a little while then I'm done with it I'm planning on putting it back in the freezer. IS this okay to freeze, refreeze, freeze, refreeze, etc.?

It would probably be better for you to take it out of the bag (if you can), cut a chunk off of it for your burrito, and then put the bag back in the freezer without letting it defrost much. Defrosting and re-freezing probably won't affect the nutritional content of the pulp much, but it could change the texture and back it less desirable.

As for having pulp in general, I'd recommend that you try using your fruits and veggies in smoothies rather than juicing them. That way you get your fiber right then and don't have to worry about leftover pulp! :D I had a peach and spinach "green smoothie" earlier today and it was absolutely delicious!

I like to eat the fruit instead of juicing it, but we all like different things.

I wouldn't frezze then refreeze if I were you, I'd just freeze in smaller quantities

I use pulp in crackers all the time, works great.

When I juice my oranges, I don't get any pulp, LOL!
However, if I did, maybe it would be good dehydrated into a fruit leather mabye by adding another sweet fruit to it, also.

Dehydrate the pulp and then grind it in the blender to make a potent powder to sprinkle over other foods to add nourishment and color. Just a thought
