Ok can someone make this confused mind a bit less confused.
I know that in Alissa's book she states to eat all you want while transitioning. And it seems most people are leaning toward the "sweet" aspect of the foods for transitioning.
I need some clarification as to why the RAW Sweets would be that much better for you. Well, besides the obvious. Ok so we are getting away from the processed sugars.. I understand that aspect... but if we use agave or honey.. this seems to be just replacing one sugar with another... I do not see the sense in this even tho agave or honey may be better it is still giving sweet to the body.
Also.. if one is wanting to lose the weight.. which I know eventually one will on RAW..but alot of the recipes are nut filled. I probably have asked this before... but I am not understanding this.. Are all these nut filled recipes to help satisfy the stomach.. heavier and loaded with a "better" fat. but fat none the less? I know the fats in the nuts will satisfy.. but seems this is defeating a purpose if one wants health plus weight loss. Is it more for something different.. nuts are also very expensive for the amounts we would need on a regular basis... be it online or local.
I have tried to find this answer in Alissa's book.. but either I am not reading in the context I need to answer my questions.. or I am just plain dumb..could anyone point out what page will answer this question? I have stayed away from alot of the nut filled recipes because I suppose of the fat content.. hey I have enough fats on me don't need more and if the fats are what is clogging the blood I need to see the reasoning then behind why we should eat more??
I sure hope this makes sense.. I am truely needing some clarification.. hope someone out there can help.
