Was in the mood for something heavier yesterday...these turned out great if you like the flavor of italian sausage. The mix was good before dehydration too!! Like all raw recipes you need to play around with the spices to suit you.
Hope you enjoy these~ :D

Italian Rawsage Patties

2 cups of walnuts (soaked and rinsed)
1/2 c. sunflower seeds (soaked and rinsed)
1/2 c. sun-dried tomatoes (soaked and rinsed)
1 c. mushrooms (wiped off or washed) w/ stems
1 lg. onion (cut into large pieces)
3 large cloves garlic
Celtic Sea Salt to taste
Cracked Pepper
1 T. Fennel Seed (crushed in a mortar and pestal) or ground (or to taste)
1 T. agave nectar

Mix in food processor till well blended, smoothish...make into patties.

Dehydrate 4 hours on a teflex sheet...turn, take off teflex and dry 4 more hours or till done to your liking.

These were awesome....serve w/ Alissa's summer marinara sauce....delish!!

So, how long do you think I need to soak the nuts? I want to make this asap and I just put them in the water! Maybe 4-5 hours???

walnuts don't need to be soaked to remove the inhibitors, so about 15 minutes to soften is all they need.

this does indeed sound delicious. yummy!!!
