Raw Food In Canada?

I'm wondering where I can order various raw food staples in Canada? Most websites are US and I'd like to avoid the customs/duty hassle and cost.

I'm looking for dates, goji berries, maca, and anything else for that matter!

We have two natural food/health stores here in Calgary but they don't have much for raw.

Any info would be great, thanks!

It's a Canadian company based in Toronto that sells a lot of raw food products that you are looking for. It's all in Canadian dollars, and of course, no hassle with customs.

Hi,

One site i have ordered from before is www.rawganique.com . they are located in british columbia if i am correct. if you clicke on raw foods on the left hand side, you will get a list of what they have. I received great service when i dealt with them, i would definitely deal with them again.

Other than that, i order from a local organic company.. you may want to check if you have some organic company in your area. when i was living in winnipeg, i would order from www.eatit.ca and they would get new products if you requested them.

humm, I'm sure you'll get some great advice form the members here, I would order everything from Alissa's site if it were me, but it isn't in Canada, so I understand your dilema.

oh just to add...
sometimes when you order on a US site, you may ask them to ship it as a "sample" or as a "gift". if it is a gift, you dont pay custom charges. the "sample" one is a siggestion from a friend of mine as her hubby is a salesman of some sort and he sends out samples and doesn't pay custom charges.
