View Full Version : My unofficial challenge

My best GF has gone overseas for 3 weeks. Just before she left I stopped dairy (but she doesn't know) and she knows I'm interested in Raw but doesn't know I'm "doing" it (or trying to the best of my abilities at the moment...)
So I'm just going to see how much of a difference she can see in me when she comes back after 3 weeks...Physical, emotional, spiritual, energy levels...whatever. Like I said, my skin is already alot clearer & I feel 100% more energetic (most of the time..lol)
So I'll let you know if she notices...anything?!!
that's a great idea, keep us posted!
When people see you day in day out, they might not always notice all the changes that you go through, but if you only see them like once every other month or like after they went away, they notice so much more! It's so cool!
I hope to look my best when I come back home after I went away (I'm planning to take a year off and visit countries I've always wanted to go to, work a little here and there, so I can get by, and after a year or so, return home and see everybody again and look the best I've ever looked!!)
Good luck! I'll be rooting for you!!

My friend had not seen me in 2 weeks, when she saw me on Saturday and noticed all kind of changes that I myself had not noticed. So, be surprised that your friend will see changes that you yourself has missed. It really is a good feeling.

Hey Jay - if you're travels bring you Down Under you're welcome to drop by - would be great to catch up with an "international" raw lover!

Ok an update...my GF's trip was about 4 weeks, then it took us about 2 weeks to catch up. I'd emailed her earlier this week that I was "into" Raw and that I'd lost 4kgs.
She came round yesterday. When I opened the door she said - "I can see you've lost weight" - first thing...not the kind of stuff we usually comment on/chat about. Then later "Are you sure you've only lost 4 kg's - looks like you've lost about 10!"
:D :D :D
Weight loss isn't my main goal (my BMI was OK...but after 2 little ones, I could always loose some). DH is amazed at how I've changed (in all sorts of GOOD ways). I want to live to be over 100 to play with my great-grandchildren!!!

That's a great goal. That's one of my motivators, too. I want to be able to roll around with them, run around, and be lively enough to be involved in their lives (well, I'm assuming there's going to be a bunch of them!).
Your husband seeing changes in you is so great. They must be significant changes is someone who sees you daily can tell!
