just saw at my meijers store a salton blender with a heavy solid stainless steel base , glass jar , single dial control with 6 different settings/speeds , and a 550 watt motor for $29 . i like everything about it for price except the plastic gears that mesh together between the jar and motor which drive the blade , its like the plastic could wear out quickly . any one have experience with this unit ?
