I can't stand to look at or chew on whole flaxseeds. Any ground flax recipes? I can't find any online...
I have recently tried "Igor's Live Flat Bread" from his book of the same title [on this page] (http://www.rawfamily.com/products1.htm). It is a ground flax seed base and is really good. His recipe fills 9 Excalibur trays. I am going to use the same recipe now that I've tried it and make subtle variations to it.. yum ;)

TP, could you possibly post the recipe or one of your variations of it?
Thank you.

I have seen a recipe for ground sunflower seed crackers...I believe it was equal parts ground seed to water...soaked an hour and then spread on texflex sheets and dehydrate.

Grind one part soaked almonds in a food processor. Grind two parts flax seed in a coffee grinder. Grind one part oat groats in coffee grinder. Blend all in food processor. Add salt, cumin, and olive oil to taste. The reason I said "one part," depends on how much you want to make. Two cups of almonds, etcetera, make four trays of crackers. Delish! You can add parsley or other spices as well and they serve well as chips too!

Ooops, I forgot to add the water. Add water until you have a cream of wheat consistency of the cracker dough.
