I was at a bookstore this evening and checking out their used section. I saw something that was titled "No-Cook" Book. It has 365 days of raw recipies (breakfast, lunch and dinner). It was written in 1969 by John H. Tobes. And it was only $1.99! So I have a ton of recipies now!

The author does use raw milk, meats, and fish...that's not for me. But that's only for a few recipies.

He has a lot of information in the last chapter (after all of the meals) which I'm really excited to read.

That is so cool - can you tell me the publisher, I would like to see if I can find a copy. You are really getting in to this thing - how are you doing these days?

Sweet lips, Provoker Press I believe is the publisher. I went through the book this morning and I think it has really creative salads and juices. Using the raw eggs and unpasteurized milk scares me a bit, though. I'm trying out a cereal recipe right now. It calls for soaking rice (yes rice!) and oat groats overnight and then adding some chopped nuts and an orange at breakfast. I have no idea if this will be edible but I'll give it a try.

My raw life is doing fine. I'm at least 80% everyday. And I noticed that my appetite is really a lot less. But I am going through the frustration of trying to be creative with what my husband and children eat each day (since they are not raw). I also haven't lost a single pound and I know that's due to lots of raisins and nuts. So I'm trying to slow down my consumption of those. I really don't want to lose weight, maybe 5 lbs. maximum but I don't want to gain either!

Thanks for asking how I'm doing.

I'm glad I have the book as a resource.
