Raw meat

hello,
I was at the book store getting a "cook book" i picked up a raw book and looked through it.... they had some recipies that contain raw meat!!! are there really raw foodists that eat raw meat???

Yep, there are some raw fooders who are not raw vegan and they consume raw meat, dairy, eggs, yogurt, etc.

But as you probably already know...we don't get down like that here! :) (or at least we refrain from those types of discussions here)

Carol Alt does this and it's in her book.

YEP, it's called the Paleo diet I believe, or at least it is close to that.

I too, read about this, and thought "OH YUCK" I mean it's bad enough cooked, but raw too?

talk about ecoli, salmonella, let's see how many fun bacterias and diseases we can say boys and girls. LOL

Yea there is. I'm on a raw food community on livejournal.com and some eat meat and eggs and stuff. To me just thinking of the texture almost makes me gag! EW

There is no way I could swallow raw egg (that's me).
I would totally gag.

I use to eat sushi though when I was cooked. :eek:
