Dr. Wheatgrass Supershots (http://www.wheatgrasskits.com/wheatgrass_juice.htm)

By now, you all know that I hate juicing my wheatgrass twice a day. But I do it. So when I read about this, I got all excited.

Feedback?

Feedback? It's processed, chemically stabilized, can sit on the shelf 2 years, what's the point? It's far, far away from live juice.

Here's the one alternative to juicing for yourself I can see possible value in. Fresh frozen juice, shipped directly to you from the farm where it is produced. http://www.dynamicgreens.com/

I'd still want to give it the "how does this work *FOR ME*" test before recommending it, but if I could not juice for myself this is what I would try.

The company sure tries to convince the consumer otherwise, huh?

I have looked into having it shipped. I should probably just go ahead and spend the money on an electric juicer. 120 oz. for $200 is pricey!

Thanks for the input.

120 oz. for $200 is pricey! It's all relative. That works out to $1.66 a shot (1 oz) and you need no special equipment.

Juicebars charge $3 and up and you gotta get there. Buying a flat of grass for $16 at Wild Oats and juicing it at home is maybe $1.50/shot including gas. Only if you grow your own will you get that price down a lot. I know people for whom paying $1.66 for a shot they pull out of the freezer would be the only way they would do it.

I'm not advocating it, just noting that it would be a viable option for some.
