I made the crepes by following Alissa's recipe exactly (something I rarely do-always got to change something!) and my kids don't like it at all.
What a waste. They said that the banana leather was too banana like. They love bananas but not like that.
I am so bummed I was really hoping they would like them.

Okay, you have to let the strawberry sauce soften the banana leather into a crepe like texture, and it won't taste like bananas at all, it will taste yummy
but if they still don't like it, you can take those little crepes, and freeze them, sauce and all into bits, then once they are frozen, place into your food processor and you will make the best ice cream in the world.
I had some left over and did that because I didn't want to serve the same dessert three nights in a row to guests, and they didn't know the difference, it was magickal!

your so clever RP; I would never have thought of making ice cream out of them.
My kids loved them; let them soften. If they don't change their minds that just means more for you ;) Or try the ice cream idea.

I did let them sit for two hours to soften.
Thanks RP for the idea. I had thought of throwing them into the kids smoothies but I like your idea better of freezing the whole thing first.
Thanks

My kids loved this recipe and have been begging me to make it again. They said it tasted like peanut and strawberry jelly...to each their own I guess!

Awe that sounds like an awesome idea!!! I made those last week, but it made soooo many and I couldn't eat them all. I left them in the fridge for the next day, but then they were just mush, so I chucked them. I wish I had known to freeze them!!!
