Ok, just reading another thread that said that some people can give up steak easier than cheese because of the fat content in cheese. Well, I have to ask...since just three days ago I gave up my last cooked food...cheese...and yesterday I craved an avocado something fierce...do you think that I had such a hard time giving up cheese because I haven't been eating enough fat??? :o
That totally makes sense to me...because I have to tell you, out side of a few slices of cheese each week and a small amount of dairy kefir...I've been all raw for over a month! It never occured to me that I didn't want to give up cheese because I was craving the fat...but that totally makes sense!!! Aren't our bodies the most amazing things!!!! :D I'm so proud that I made the choice (against my cravings for cheese) and my body made a better choice by saying, ok...avocado then! LOL That is just too cool to me! It makes me feel like I am finally hearing my body speak to me. Had to share!

It isn't great when you can finally start tuning into your body and figuring out what it truly wants?

Congratulations!!

That's great! It seems a lot of people find that avocado works that way. Cheese is also addictive (not just psychologically/emotionally), which is why it is truly difficult for some people to give up.

Good for you :)

Dairy contains tryptophan which is very addictive!
