Earlier this month, I ate at a raw restaurant in Minneapolis. It's listed in the resources section of Alissa's cookbook in the back.
Well, this place was pretty divine! I must say it was the highlight of my trip.
The restaurant has a nice, cozy ambiance. It's like eating at a friend's house. The wait staff is very kind and friendly. But, then, there's the food! It was like living in raw food heaven. I had the veggie burger. It was served on a bed of greens dressed with citrus dressing and a sprouted bun. For dessert, I had the raw tropical fruit 'cheesecake.' It was delicious and definitely worth the trip.
I have been raw almost five months (about 95 percent raw). I have always wanted to go to a real, raw, sit-down restaurant. It was heavenly :)
I am hoping that we get a raw restaurant in Metro-Detroit very soon! *hint, hint...anyone out there to start one?*
