Hey everyone,
I am new to raw and want to purchase the following food items online ('cause I can't find locally) but there are so many options!?! Will you tell me which you prefer of the following:
1. Raw olives
2. Raw carob powder
3. Raw honey
Thanks! :p

Hi sosiesmom,
Out of your list the only thing that I've purchased online is the raw carob. I got mine from Alissa and it is great.
Good luck!

I love all those foods!
The raw olive really hit the spot for cravings! I have been buying mine from www.naturalzing.com which have a quick shipment time. They are awsome. The black are great on raw pizza. The green stuffed with jalepino's are really good too!
The raw honey and carob I get from our co-op or a wholefood grocery.

I would base my decision on how much use I would get from the item. I use more honey than anything else on your list, I use honey almost every other day. I would LOVE to have raw olives, but realistically I would probably only use them once or twice a week. I'm not a "chocaholic", so the carob isn't a big deal to me. In two months I've only used it twice, and not eaten all of the 'chocolates' I made.

Thanks for the responses but I think I wasn't clear enough. I am trying to identify which companies to purchase these products from and I wanted to know what folks have tried and which they've liked/disliked.
Oh, ok. I purchase my Raw Carob right here from Alissa's site and I buy the Really Raw Honey, that's the company/lable name.

I like honey, I just buy raw local stuff from Whole Foods. I bought carob powder from Alissa. It has just arrived so I haven't had the chance to taste it yet.
I haven't found raw olives that I like yet.

I use honey all the time, almost everyday.....and even though I don't use it everyday, I get panicked if my carob gets all used up, you have to have it for those chocolate cravings. A friend and I purchased Alissa's raw carob, and we get raw honey from the local HFS. For raw honey, you may also want to check a local farm and garden shop, they may sell it there, from local bee keepers (as opposed to the grocery store).
Good luck.
