I was just reading something that got me to thinking. I'm a newbie to raw...started in the Spring...what is the difference in your eating patterns in Hot weather verses Cold weather? Does the temp outside change how you eat? It never occured to me before, but I'm starting this coming into warm months, it will be easy to eat cool to cold foods and really enjoy them. But I live up in the Northeast...it gets really cold here for about 5 months out of the year. It will be interesting to see what foods I am drawn to when the weather changes...how about you?

I started raw in the summer - which was great because there is so much available to choose from.
I find summertime eating is lighter. lots of fruits / melons / tomatoes -- munch down fresh corn on the cob. Not a lot of 'fixing' food because there is so much out there fresh to just eat 'as is'. I do make vege burgers more in the summer tho.
Wintertime I tend to do more recipes - chili's - sauces over squash noodles, vege mixtures w/spices and oils and soups. Cayenne pepper and chili powder is a fav ingredient in the winter recipes to make me feel warm. (I used to live in Massachusetts, so I know what you mean about a cold winter!!)

I just bought cayenne pepper this week! :D I never thought of making your body warm with spices. Now that's a great idea! Thanks! :)
