Anyone have recipes for popsicles?
Mine is my version of the "dreamysicle"

Take 6 oranges juice them
If you use soy milk which I find creamy-take 2 cups and 1 tsp. of pure vanilla from the health food store.
Place in vita-mixer or really good blender and blend for 1 to 2 min. and put into your popsicle forms.
Place in your freeze which you turn up on high for a couple of hours and you'll be in dream land.

You know I've never tried it because it's so thin not much body.
I will be trying coconut milk, I'm trying to slow down on the silk soy milk.
I't hard because it tastes so good.

You can make the almond milk much thicker and creamier by using less water when you make it.

:p
You know I never thought about doing that, how sad. :o
I really am trying to get away from soy milk, I think we are hooked.
The flavor is so good. I'll have to play around to satify my tastebuds.

This sounds great.. I'm going to try it but I don't use soy milk.

I will try either almond or coconut.

Thanks for the recipe... it is a bit warm here, so something cold would be nice!

I used a recipe that came out of Victoria B.'s "12 steps"...if I remember it right, (I loaned the book out) it used a couple of oranges, a frozen banana (or two)....pureed in the blender....I made this and it tasted creamy, and just like an orangecicle....and I don't even like the SAD version, and this was great!!! I suppose you could "thin" out the banana version with alittle almond mylk if you wanted to!!

Hi Blessed, please know that this is a raw food support board, and we do not talk about using Silk soy milk here, we can talk about what to use to replace it, that would be Great, as I bet alot of others would like to know how to get a delicous rich and thick milk like that.

soy, is very addictive and especially the highly processed milks.

so, I would suggest a thick almond cream with some pine nuts added, that is what I use or macademia nut cream might be good.

hope this works for you.

Sounds good! All of it I mean.. Well, we like to blend honey melon and lemon juice together to get a nice cool drink, possible with icecubes come summer.. It tastes heavenly to me.. :p

Thanks for an alternative. The reason I love it so is because it's thick and rich.

Try adding some banana (or even frozen banana) for the creaminess....you'll be surprised at what the banana adds to your "ice cream" smoothie!

thank you for your suggestion, it is well taken and I think it will work and it's not too expensive.
