I made my first large raw meal for other people. I made Alissa's unturkey and mashed potatoes with the gravy from Eating Without Heating. I also made raw candied yams, and a large green salad. For dessert I made macaroon nests with carob eggs and also Alissa's carrot cake with coconut frosting shaped into a bunny with carrot ears and whiskers and raisin eyes and nose. It was all delicious and my SAD friends who were skeptical were very very impressed. They loved the "turkey" and yams best of all. I will post pictures soon!! :)
Any other fun raw Easter meals?? (pictures please!)

It sounds wonderful.
We went to inlaws. Most food were cooked, we brought blueberry pie, watermelon and salad. We received lots of compliments

But we had

creamy corn chowder,
Chocolate mousse ice cream
chocolate fudge cookies
It was delicious and beautiful with all of the colors and flavors
I still have not figured out how to post pictures :o or I would !
I made a nice Raw meal for my dh and dc, while my dh cooked SAD Easter meal meals for our relatives. We started the day off with raw granola cereal and almond milk then had carrot pecan burgers with curry sauce as an early lunch as I made raw lasagna and blueberry pie. We had the lasagna as our main meal as our relatives looked on in disbelief ! I ate blueberry pie most of the afternoon !
We got hungry again after everyone left, I had some collard wraps and filling all set to go in the fridge so we polished that off ! It was a very succesful raw holiday for us. I always disliked Easter meal foods so it I was not in the least bit tempted. Wsih I could say the same for my 16 yr old child who decided to have a plate full of SAD food and spent the entire evening in bed !! I don't think he will make that mistake again !
I never did make the cheesecake :( .

I made it very simple.....I took, to my parents house (now remember it had to keep in a airtight ziplock container placed in a bigger baggie of ice)....Alissa's stuffed portabello mushroom caps!! I just took the avo, tomato, & onion whole to my parents house, with the mushroom marinating in Braggs (in the container) during church, and then chopped everything up at my parents house!....it was a great looking "meal"....very asthetically appealing! I felt like I was eating a meal and not a snack. My mom tried it and said it was very good! I recommend this dish to everyone, it's a great FAST meal! I ate it 2 dinners in a row!!!

There's two ways that you can post pictures.
1) When you're composing a reply (using the regular "post reply" button, not "quick reply") scroll down to where it says "additional options". Click on "manage attachments" and, in the box that pops up, browse to where the pictures are on your hard drive.
2) Get an account at a free photo-managing site (I recommend http://www.photobucket.com), upload your photos there, then post here with links to the photos on your account.

Raene, that bunny cake is too cute! And kudos to you for serving a whole holiday meal raw! I still make too many allowances for my SAD family.
