Hello everyone,
Happy Easter! I am ready to launch into my 30-day raw program. My only worry, is that although I have always loved salads, if I am to up the greens ante, how will I survive without good dressings? I don't like a lot of the commercial low-fat or "Annie" varieties. If everything I eat is raw, am I untrue to the challenge by eating Catalina, Zesty Italian, etc.?
Also, I am a "big mama" and need to eat a lot to feel full. I have been 60% raw for a month. On two occasions my desire for a serious feast of chicken or steak was overwhelming. I felt anxiety until I finished a hefty KFC fix. (Even the small pets I sat for were nervous around me.) What do you do when you have cut out the bread, dairy and pasta, and an apple just doesn't fill the void?
I've lost 15 pounds so far, and feel it's time to do this thing right. I have been a constant lurker on this site. My evil ways have been exposed. Advice is welcome. Thanks!
