:) Aloha from sunny Hawaii...I have been reading this board for some weeks now, starting just before Christmas. It gave me the motivation to put some well needed changes into place and when better time than New Year...I used to eat mainly vegetarian...but ate way too much pasta and liked my wine ALOT. I have cut out coffee, wine, all breads and pasta and I am eating mainly salads and vegies (some cooked vegies) and having soaked buckwheat groats for breakfast with some fig and apple. I have just finished the book the PH Miracle which has further inspired me and I have been taking lots of Green drinks also. Day 2 I had a massive headache which lasted 2 days then I came down with flu - massive sneezing etc - lots of mucus and aches and pains...I am at day 14 now and my flu is subsiding to a congestion and cough on my chest. I feel good even so! I have lost 7lb - i was 176 before and 5'4". I dearly would love to lose the excess weight I have slowly put on since the birth of my children and get back to around 130lb...So slowly slowly
I am 47 years old and plan to look better at 50 than I did at 35. So 14 days and counting...I would love to connect with some of you and hear your plans of action and comments about staying on track.
