My two year old has eaten a lot of grapes today. She drinks apple juice all the time. She woke up from her nap crying in obvious pain. She's barely two so she can't tell me much but she's grabbing at her diaper continuously and crying loudly. She also had a popsicle today. I know this is all junk, I'm trying to get all my family transistioned but am not there yet. Is there anything I can do now. I don't have any acidophilus or I would put that in some rice milk. That's the other problem. She won't drink anything but apple juice. I have a sample prescription of estrace from when my other daughter had a yeast infection. She was two at the time also so it's several years old. Thanks

Coconut Oil....Coconut Oil....Coconut Oil . Orally and topically (on rash)
Enteric coated probiotics
Fermented Foods, any .... kim chi, sauerkraut
Make her some raw freezer chocolate (recipe on this site somewhere) with coconut oil and agave which has a low glycemic index and dark agave which has is even lower. Put it in her smoothies, makes'um creamy.
Rice milk is FULL of sugar, mycotoxins and is not the best drink for yeast problems. I'm thinking you know this as the same goes for the juices. Try juicing green granny smith apples for her, they are also low glycemic. And then maybe as your balance her flora you could cut the juice with water and wean her off moving to other juices....like greens sweented with a green apple. Try the "shrek" juice bit, or whatever other green super hero she's into at the moment.
I know that most kids are not fond of taking things like oil and pills, in foods or straight. But my argument to most of my like minded friends is that...when a child has an infection, usually a med. is perscribed by a doctor. And usually a mother will MAKE her child...one way or another, somehow take the med.'s Well this is the same frame of mind I used for my daughter, who at the time was 2 1/2 and is now 6. She in no way wanted anything to do with these things, especially the enteric coated probiotics (which I didn't find out about till she was 5 so it was eaiser for her to take)....but I did make her take these things. There was no choice. Just as when the "doctor" expects that when perscribed med.'s...there is no choice for the child, he/she will take them. At 2 I don't see you getting a pill in her. But the other things you can for sure. Other wise her "terrain" will just decline and things will not only not get better, they will indeed get worse as yeast grows more and more out of control in her body.
Your going to hear both sides of the issue: fats versus sugars. But I have found that while both seem to be true, it's a balance of good - bad - and nutrual intestinal bacteria that TRULY makes the difference. My daughter DID get much better when we cut ALL sugars, high glycemic foods and ALL mycotoxin foods out of her diet. But as SOON as I started to very slowly reintroduce any of these foods she would have the same issues. It wasn't until and only until her flora was put back in check that she was able to handle any and all foods with no problems. No more stinky feet, no more headaches, rashes, moods or any of her HUGE sugar cravings, nothing. And her BM's were way more consistent where she was VERY constipated, which again has everything to do with intestinal bacteria.
Here's a read that is really good in my opinion:

Not advocating her choice in foods, but don't through out the baby with the bathwater ;)
Hope this helps you
