Greetings from my keyboard ....
I'm finally doing it, not just thinking about it.
I usually live in my head, or I could say, I have a very rich inner life
After reading countless books about raw food, and copying down probably hundreds of raw recipe ideas, I figured so what if they all think I'm a loon? Because I actually really am pretty loony...
In a house that worships microwavable meals and Pringles and McDonald's fries I've starting hollering "Blending!" before I rev up the blender or food processor ... (darn appliances are so loud I may just give someone a heart attack!)
I am not quite at the 100% raw yet, and I'm just doing it day by day - in the past 2 years I've tried going raw and continually faltered, which seems to be a common occurence for all (the whole backsliding and falling off the wagon)
So yay! I'm not alone in that ;)
I could say I'm going raw strictly because I believe it to be the healthiest way to nourish and feed this body, and that would be partly true. Mostly true. But I've got some fat to release and I've found that being obsessive with nutrition can keep me off antidepressants and give me more energy. So there's a bunch of reasons, none of which even matter, because when I eat raw, I feel wonderful, it feels right.. and that's all I care about really.
So that's me. In a walnut-shell. For now.
