Hey Peoples !
I wanted to share my new eating space that creates harmoney and balance while eating so I don't feel anxious and catch myself thinking about what I 'm eating or how much I ate.
The picture shows my new Bamboo cutting board!! I love this board. It's engrooved on the sides to make lifting of surface easy and clean. I will use it as a raised place mat. Also, my new sushi palte with cherry blossoms, new twirl cut bamboo chopsticks and I have 2 Hashiokis (chopstick rest) the first one is the blue crane and the other is a seashell I brought back from the waterfront. To make my eating spacer more enjoyable, I put my favotrite seashells, starfish and rocks.
I'm finishing another long fast so I'm excited to transition back to raw foods. "knock on wood" b/c in December when I did my juice fasting, I ate BAD for three weeks. Then January did another fast and stayed raw therafter since then.......so I'm making sure I create a serene eating space. ;)

Misslinda, your beautiful space reminds me of walking along Alkai in Seattle, so many pretty blue colors, surf and sky, the mountain in the background, the blossoms on the trees, sea shells, all so beautiful.
you have a gift for sure.

MissLinda...Your new dining space is so fabulous & serene. I love that you incorporated shells-I love shells. No two are alike-just like people & snowflakes...

Linda what a great sense of beauty you have and are able to translate into 'things'! I love it all. You are inspiring me to make some designer changes to my eating space and experience. Thanks for the nudge!! And enjoy your new eating experience especially coming off of a fast. You'll do great this time. Stay raw!

hey misslinda,
I too like the seashore setting - it's fresh and uplifting and also allows peace while eating. I love eating with chopsticks. They're simple to use, and stream lined at the same time, plus if they are the plain wood type they make great kindling. :D

Thank you for the loving words to the rest of you. ;)
I was inspired during the week when so many members here was getting discouraged with their raw journey. I found myself feeling [tempted] to live their emotions and almost [wanted] to lose control...........
Eating can be an intimate experience, I believe...........like any other relationship with all my senses engaging in that time between me and my food .
I feel this will serve a number of things: a healing modality,a reflection of my evoloving inwardness and a peaceful place to eat without seeing food as evil, the enemy or some negative association. A time for food healing ;)
MissLinda ~ what a calm, serene setting. I live in a whirlwind of eating styles and age groups. We take in troubled kids, plus have 3 of our own. They are great kids, but my kitchen is always B-U-S-Y! I need that peaceful spot that you have achieved. I think you have motivated me to work on it. It just won't be in our kitchen area....
Thanks for the inspiration!

Nini, I like your style! that's a great idea--move your "sacred" eating place elsewhere. There truly is no right or wrong in where we put it :) I would love to see your newly invented eating place too!!!!!! :)
ps that's admirable of you to take in trouble kids---miracle and blessings to you ;)
