I'm interested in the avo and sprout combo. Maranatha is the pb that you probably have. They also make a really yummy raw almon butter. It's expensive, but what isn't in this diet!

I don't think there's such a thing as raw peanut butter. I've looked in several stores (just to see if it was there, not because I really wanted to buy it) and not found it, even when I've found raw versions of almond butter, cashew butter, etc.

Just a heads up for youuzzz guyzzz... maranatha is NOT raw. Also, raw peanut butter you probably won't find (or at least I searched until the end of the globe) until I found out that peanuts grow lots of fungus on them; therefore, they are not the most nutritious of nuts...
On the brighter side... I think that every other raw nut butter that I have tried tastes 1000 times better than ANY pb that I have EVER tasted... plus, they are so much more fun to create masterpieces with!!

Ehh, have you ever tried raw walnut butter? If not, I think you may find that once you do you'll be eating your words. And in the event that you (or anyone else) has tried it and actually LIKES it...let me know how you're using it! Because I bought some and have used it several times on celery with raw honey, because I find it less than palateable on it's own. Tonight, even the combination of honey and walnut butter was so unappealing that I could barely stomach one celery stick filled with the mixture -- I had to put the other stick back in the fridge. But I wanna use it up since it was so expensive (obviously).

there are places you can buy raw peanuts and raw peanut butter, the toxin is called aflatoxin, and actually is present in alot of foods, peanuts because of the way they are picked and stored, just seem to be extra-suseptable to this.
however, raw peanuts do not taste like roasted peanuts, much like raw cashews taste nothing like roasted cashews, so it's up to you, to decide if you really want this.

www.sunorganicfarm.com has several raw nut butters..... specifically their creamy almond, cashew, sesame tahini and pistachio butters which are all processed below 118 degrees, as verified via email correspondence
Frutters Nut Butters www.futtersnutbutters.com also have truly raw nut butters.
