Just thought I'd share some minor achievements...

-Have been totally off dairy for only 2 days and my skin is MUCH clearer & my cough has gone - yeah! (yes - DH noticed...lol!)

-Our whole family have had fresh fruit & juice bkfsts for the last 2 days and DH & I both feel MUCH better for it...kids seem happy too.

-My son who used to eat avocados when he was little, went 'off' them, but today sat at the table and used a bread & butter knife to dig out the avocado & eat it off the knife (doesn't matter how they do it as long as it goes in!)

-Had avocado & salad for lunch instead of the usual cheese & salad.

-My son LOVES soaked nuts (doesn't like unsoaked - too hard) and has been munching on almonds (yeah - all that calcium!)

-Kids have eaten sorbet (made in the samson with bananas ) the last 2 days and called it "ice cream"

So...little by little we follow the learning curve and make the journey to better health...

It all starts with small steps. You are doing well. We have all been there and slipped some but have come back to it. Now we are taking bigger step as you will do too. Our bodies get use to the good ,raw foods and we crave them. That is all from taking the first steps as you and your family are doing so well at.

Great job! Yes it is true small steps turn into big ones. I am finally learning myself that all great accomplishments are done by doing the same thing over and over and never quitting. :)

That is so GREAT!! Little people definitely like to mimic us!! So the healthier you eat...the more and more they'll begin to gravitate towards the same choice. I have played "hippocrite" with food with my kids...they don't buy it. But when I am consistent ...they follow. :) So now I'm trying to be consistent with the"good" stuff!!!! :p
Keep up the great example ,
Michelle
