ok, I know...annoying question coming from lack of experience...but,

how do you soak pumpkin seeds without them getting all soggy and smelly and gross? I'm terrible at soaking/sprouting and all that. They should be sprouted before consumed? Ah I'm so confused, agh I need help! I'm so horrible at this *cries* lol.

Do you have Alissa's book? She has a section on sprouting that is a good starter.

Pumpkin seeds soak 6 hours... that means covered with water... and sprout for 1 day... that means rinsed and drained until just damp (twice a day), and covered to prevent drying.

So, in a little more than a day they are ready.

Also check out www.sproutpeople.com, they have lots of good info on sprouting.

Thanks Shivananda :)

I'm going to get Alissa's book ASAP. I sort of stumbled upon RAW and took a liking for it immediately...so I've pretty much been experimenting on my own and it's time I get some more direction.
