YIPPEE!!! My son loves them...

I made oatmeal cookies in the dehydrator and my son loved them. He at 3 of them. I just love finding new healthy versions of my kid's favorite junk foods.

So far I am 2 for 2 with my kids on snacks.

1. apple chips
2. oatmeal cookies
3... looking forward to the next snack alternative. hehe

I know exactly how you feel. It's disappointing when you work hard to make something you hope they'll like and then they turn their nose up at it. But it's worth all the effort when you find something they like.

Welcome Veggiemom2 and thanks for sharing your successes with your son! As Allison mentioned, it's always heartwarming when you make something that is healthy for your children and they actually LIKE it! I'm sure he'll like many more of the things you make...may not like them all (then again, maybe he will) but if you can get him to like ANY of them, that's definitely a plus!
