I want to make the fudge recipe from the Green Chefs TV posted in the food picture thread. I requires "Virgin coconut butter". I went to the health food store and the only thing I found is "Virgin coconut oil". It is white and thick like a butter though...is it the same thing?
Thanks!

Hi Migrou,
I understand the confusion. Coconut OIL is also called coconut BUTTER, because it is a liquid above 78 degrees F, and a solid below 78 degrees F, so what would YOU call it? :)

Yes, it is. Thing you may wish to check is, is it raw. If so, it's got such a wonderful, coconutty fragrance and taste. If not, it's not quite so wonderful. lol
