I went to the Garden Center for Liquid Kelp and they did not have it. I purchased Calcified Seaweed instead. I emailed the supplier to ask if it was safe for my sprouts and they said yes but I am still concerned that it may not be Vegan.
Has anyone encountered it and do you know how it is made.

Essentially they all dry seaweed in the sun and then chop it up. It's a very, very low tech industry.

I think that a lot of it is in my head. The pack came with a measuring device that can be used for 4 different products. As well as the product that I bought it can be used to measure Gypsum, Bone Meal and "Blood, Fish and bone".
These are other products made by this company. It has put me off. I am a paranoid Vegan. I am going to continue to look for the Kelp. I can save this for that distant day when I have a lawn.
