I haven't made a raw cake yet. Are they shape-able? I'm trying to make a cake shaped like a bunny and would love some advice.

You can shape any cake any shape! put in cold place for a while to hold the shape.

The Bunny shape sounds great! I'm putting this to try for next year. Thanks for the idea. Joz

Yes, you can, I make raw cakes all the time, you can cook them in the fridge, or if you want a two layer cake, make the bottom layer, and freeze it, so it will stand up well, then place fresh fruit on top, then add the second layer, you can freeze it too, to make it tall like a regular cake, don't let it freeze too hard though, just enough to hold it's shape, works great.

you can make icing with cocnut meat or nuts and put through a piping gun, and make it look like a real bakery cake too, it takes time, but the freezing helps it to stand up and the icing to not run too much.
use fruits for coloring,

beets for pink or red
blackberries for black or deep purple or blues
kiwi is good for green, or even avocado
strawberries for pale pink
raspberries for pink or red
etc.

Wow, thanks!!! I'm so excited.
Any ideas on what to use for edible whiskers?

how about carrots, cut into long, thin strips? It will go with the flavor of the carrot cake... and it can be a bunny rabbit with orange whiskers! :)

Great Idea!

You can buy white carrots too... or buy parsnips.

Me thinks I'll be making a bunny rabbit carrot cake too!
