Hey Guys and Gals,

My friend and her hubby made some cookies with the hazel nut pulp, from their nut milk. She said they were delicious. Unfortunately they did not measure so I don't have proportions.

Nut Pulp Balls

Hazel nut pulp from 1 cup of nuts used to make milk
Honey
Rasins
Dates
Almond butter
Protein powder
Bee pollin
Cacao

Mix make into balls and roll in blended cacao nibs with coconut.

I am going to give them a try today. They didn't dehydrate but I think I will.

If you give um a try let me know what you think.

I usually just give nut pulp to my dog, but we decided to take Rawkinlocs suggestion and dehydrate it, so now that we have it dehydrated, hummm
there is a thread here that has some good reicpes in it, I will have to use due dilligence in obtaining said thread information.

I just made these minus the protien powder and bee pollin

I measured, so here you go...

Hazel Nut Pulp Balls

2/3 c hazel nut pulp from 1 cup of nuts used to make milk
8 Tbsp Honey
¼ cup rasins
3 dates pitted
2 Tbsp Almond butter
2 tsp Cacao
3/8 cup coconut
1 tsp vanilla
dash of Celtic sea salt
½ c pecans chopped

Mix all the ingredients, but the chopped pecans in the food processor.
Add chopped pecans and mix by hand
Roll into balls, flatten and roll in shredded coconut

The dough tasted pretty darn good. They are in the dehydrator right now. I will let you know how they turn out. The last batch of cookies I tried with nut pulp tasted good before dehydration but had a really weird after taste, after they were dehydrated.
