I am attempting almond milk for the first time (7 days 100% raw) do I remove the skin or leave it?

You could do either I guess, but I just leave them. They'll get "removed" when you strain it...if you strain it. I don't strain because we use it on our "cereal" wich has tons of texture with chopped fruit, crushed almonds and goji berries. No one ever complains about the texture of the milk. If your drinking it straight, you'll notice.

Don't forget you can dehydrate the pulp to make nut flour for other things, like cookies -n- such.

I leave it.

jenna, I leave the brown skins on, and just blend it all up in the blender, then I do strain all my almond pulp.
