Anyone tried nutsonline.com? Others to recommend?
Almonds in my town are a whopping $15.50 a lb for organics and $11.50 for conventional. Looking for better prices...

Where can you get more than one lb of raw nut butter online?? I saw one place a while ago that sold a whole jar or jug of it, but I have not been able to find this place since then... does anyone know what it is or does anyone have suggestions?

hmm I'm not sure how good this is but I stumbled across a site called www.bulkfoods.com which seems to have raw nuts. I hope this helps

my favorite is: http://sunorganic.com/
the selection is amazing, including harder to find stuff like chia seeds and sproutable oats. the filberts/hazelnuts were huge especially after soaking and so flavorful!

I used Nutsonline for macadamia's as I could not find "raw" ones anywhere around here. The prices for those were fair and the quality and service was great. I assume you could expect the same service no matter what you are buying from them.

Raene,

I just did a search and found 10 Trader Joes in NY (www.traderjoes.com). I don't know which would be closest to you, but they have decent prices on nuts. I think almonds there are $6-something a pound. My only issue is that I can't find raw macadamias there, but other than that...... pine nuts, almonds, walnuts, cashew, brazil nuts, hazelnuts....
