View Full Version : My tongue
This may not be the right place for this thread, but for any of you that notice your tongue (maybe you know about traditional chinese medicine), my tongue has changed so much! It used to be scalloped with white stuff all over it. Now, it's pink and red. Just thought I would share that! It doesn't feel all thick and icky either, another organ healing from RAW FOODS!!!!!! :p

Thanks for sharing that Yani! I, too, have tongue issues similar to yours. For many years I've had oral thrush off and on. I look forward to having a nice, clear, pink tongue...kinda like this guy's (or gal's) ===> :p

In Ayurveda texts, I've read that drinking very hot water throughout the day will help clear the goo (toxins) that's coming out on your tongue.
Mine has been very clear for a while, too.

Pink and red tongue - you go Yani - your body is cleaning itself well and the proof is in the tongue. More inspiration - thanks!

My tongue is also nice and pink. I wake up in the morning with a fresh mouth not at all like it was when I ate cooked food.
Tonight I went to a seminar on acupuncture and the Dr. was talking about the tongue and how you can tell if your organs are healthy by looking at the tongue. I already had learned that years ago but it was interesting to come home and see your link about it. Heres to all healthy tongues! ;)

About day 7 into 100% raw, I got the "white" tongue along with the nasty taste and smell - YUCK. This is day 14 for me and it has let up a little, but I'm sure it's going to take a while before I see the nice pink tongue and wake up without morning breath!

I didn't notice anything different about my tongue before or after cooked.

I look forward to a pink tongue and waking up fresh like that.

my tongue has a slight white coating too; I always wondered about
that. The dentist assistant thought it might be from coffee? but I don't think she really knew. Glad I'm not the only one with a white film on my tongue.
Informative post-thanks!
I look forward to a pink tongue too :p

This is good to know because I also have a white coating on my tongue. Also look forward to a clean, pink tongue. Thanks :)

My tongue is especially pink and clear when I do low sugar foods. It gets knarley if I eat raw dairy...mucus producing, and feeding the candida~
I bought a tongue scrapper, one of those tongue things they sell now adays, and I tell you, it is a pretty neat invention. Much easier than trying to brush ones tongue...
