I was hoping that someone has a recipe similar to Gopal's Organic Raw Energy Snacks. Per the ingredients list, they are nori sheets filled with seasoned sesame seed, almonds, agave necter, celtic sea salt. First germinated and dehydrated. Are they rolled after or before dehydration? Anyone ever tried them. My favorite are the mexican and vegan curry. Anyone have some ideas for a homemade version. I really like them and they are great to have around when you can't be home. The ingredients differ for the Italian, Japanese, Mexican and Curry.
Thanks,

You can use almost any highly spiced sunflower pate recipe to fill. I'm surprised by how little filling you need too. Gabriel Cousins has recipes for them in his books, so does Chad Sarno.
I make the pate (always a little different), cut each nori sheet in 3 (or 4), then put a teaspoon or two of pate down the centre (I think using one of those bags for icing to do this would work perfectly!). Gabriel Cousins says to dehydrate for a couple of hours then roll. I just roll immediately and dehydrate until crisp.
These are my favourite dehydrated snack by far, and once I started making my own I was ruined for store bought ones! Really!
Cheers,

Thanks so much. I am excited to try to make some. I am having a hard time finding the raw nori here though. My co-op order is still 2 weeks away, so I may have to wait for them. I guess I will need to add another cookbook to my collection.
We travel quite alot and I am hoping that I can take these with us for snacks.
