undefined Hello, new from Oklahoma. I'm waking each day here lately (baby boomer) with joint pain.
Decided to try the natural way. Giving this a whirl.
Anyone else an Okie? :p Doleta

I had joint stiffness before going raw but not pain. I have found that 2 spoonfulls of ground flaxseeds in a glass of water each day has fixed this problem. Now I get up in the morning as loose as when I went to bed.

WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME
after you've been raw a while, your stiffness will probably go away, I couldn't even get into or out of the bathtub, I couldn't go up the one step we have in our home, and I couldn't walk when I got out of bed, very very bad joint pain
in only 2 days, I was so much better, I can't even tell you the improvement was magickal.

I moved to Minnesota from Oklahoma about 3 years ago. I still have a ton of family there--I lived there most of my life. I've lived in Norman, Ada, Wynnewood, Pauls Valley, and Turpin!
Welcome!!!

Hi everyone!
I grew up in Catoosa. After I graduated High School I moved to Pa. I have played around with the idea of going raw for awhile, but the more I think about it now the more certain I am that it's the way to go.
I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you and making friends :)

I'm in Pauls Valley, about an hour south of Oklahoma City. So Doleta, where in Oklahoma are you? Would it be convenient for you to join our organic co-op in Wayne?
Email me.

Several people are moving AWAY from Oklahoma! What's up with that??? :p
I live in Midwest City (OKC). It's so encouraging to FINALLY see some people online from Oklahoma!!! I know just a couple of people IRL who have tried raw or are at least interested in it, but everyone here *has* to have their meat!
Welcome to raw! ;)
I moved here (oklahoma) from Los Angeles 4 years ago. I have family here, my parents transplanted to Los Angeles before I was born & have moved back.
From the building I see going on around here (north okc/edmond) I can't imagine anyone is moving away from OK and that people are moving here. The growth is crazy!

I'm from Rose Oklahoma about 60 miles east of Tulsa. Actually I live closer to Leach Ok but who wants to be from Leach. I like Rose better. The beautiful Rose flats home of the last standing Cherokee courthouse and jail. Great place to live. New to the forum myself but not new to raw.

Hi OK! Welcome to this terrific site! I'm 63 and have had major pain issue's for quite some time. I believe that eating this way (Raw) will definitely be my answer. I've been eating Raw since beginning of April. I've had some easing of pain most recently, but have not been able to reach the "totally free of pain" yet -- it's only been three months, afterall. BUT, what did come about, and almost immediately after going RAW, is that I have an absolutely abundant amount of energy, and I can get through the pain issues and keep going. What an unbelievable GIFT! Don't become discouraged, because Alissa warns in her book that pain might get worst before better. Having read her book I realized this was normal and have been able to deal with it with my new found energy and greatly elevated peace of mind. You can't help but win! Good luck with your journey! :)
