There is some difference between the two in preparation but not really in taste.
Bragg's Liquid Aminos was concluded to be a cooked product according to this discussion:

Nama Shoyu is not a cooked end-product (it's fermented in barrels and aged) but a product from originally cooked soybeans and wheat.
You can also use Celtic salt if you just want the saltiness and not the soy flavor.

Sorry MaxMarie...I was so focused on the liquid aminos I forgot about Bragg's apple cider vinegar. I should have specified.

I love their cider vin and olive oil. I also use both in my hair. Never seen aminos. Must go shopping!!!
