Need Advice

I ordered Alissa's book and the veggie spiral machine from her website on March 16th. Yesterday I got the veggie machine but not the book. I notice the machine came from Maine but I sent the check to California. I emailed Alissa asking when the book will come but no response. Did this happen to anyone else? I'm anxious to get my book and wonder why the two items were sent separately....

I posted "need advice" a few threads ago and so far 11 people have viewed the post but no one has any advice? All I'd like to know is how long did it take anyone to get their book and whether I should worry that the order has been messed up. I've emailed and called Alissa but no response. Can someone please help me? thanks

In response to you post before, like me I view ...and fell they have no answer to the post.

Most website have the items sent from the distributor so it is an oversite from the Distributor, not Alissa. I would call them and tell them you did not get the book. Usually they will send it ASAP.

From my understanding Alissa sales produts in addition to her books as an independent distributor. The products on her sites are shipped from all over and get to the customer as soon as they are uploaded and cued for delievery. Boks are often shipped at a different rate ( saves$$$).

Didn't see your other post. I know that Alissa has a training session going on right now, so that probably has an effect on response time to your call.

My book was given to me as a gift well over a year ago, so don't have any advice on shipping time. I know a lot of folks on this Board have posted they have received their book ... ask how long their's took perhaps.

so don't worry. I thought about asking for my shipping fee back, but Carmel seems so sweet (and from what people say, Alissa too!) that I did not. I also ordered mine over a holiday weekend so that accounted for 2 days slower...I have to say the book itself is GORGEOUS! I was thrilled when I finally got it. =)

I have a friend who ordered her books with the faster shipping method and it took forever but eventually she got it. So hang in there....in just might take longer than you think.

I ordered the book via Priority Mail and it took 2 days to arrive in Massachusetts from California.

Then Alissa moved to Maine, and I ordered the DVD via Parcel Post, since I'm only 60 miles away, but it never came. After a week I called to find out if the DVD had been shipped yet, but never got a reply to the message I left.

After 2 weeks I called and wrote again, and a replacement was finally sent via Priority Mail, and arrived 2 days later.

I dunno, but I imagine things have been pretty crazy for Alissa with her big recent move to the Northeast, and with putting on the trainings this weekend, and with her assistant out in Montana facing a big challenge dealing with her husband's illness.

I'd suggest calling and leaving a voice message and following up with an email to alissa@allissacohen.com Somebody will get back to you eventually, I'm sure.

I order the same thing last Weekend. Priority Mail. My book and cd came but not the spiral. I called and asked she explained they are shipped seperately. I still will have not received spiral machine. I would suggest calling. the non 1800 got anwered right away. No response at all from message left on 1800 nr.
