Can someone tell me. What are the symptoms of candida? I hear alot about it but don't know if I have it. Would I now?

I've got them bad...
The symptoms vary though widely, depending on the person.
Candida exacerbates allergies and skin conditions, that's my problem-asthma (although that's FINALLY starting to get better), and eczema.
but it's implicated in virtually every health problem-including cancer.
basically, candida shows up when our body is essentially "rotting on the inside". Candida is a decay organism-it breaks down dead tissue. There's a lot of evidence that candida also morphs from the "protids" within our own cells that upon the cells' death, those latent "protids" morph into yeast, and then mold, to break down the dead tissue. What initially causes the tissue to die at a rate that causes yeast OVERGROWTH is over acidity in the body, lack of oxygen, other toxins and stress (emtional is what I see in my practice and in myself).
Certain foods exacerbate the candida growth such as alcohol, sugar, fruit, moldy foods like cheese and vinegar, etc, but it's SOURCE is a toxic inner terrain-aint no two ways about it.
In my case, I"ve got to lessen the fruit that I'm eating. Even on all raw, my candida symptoms are NOT going away, in some ways they are worse. I find that eating fruit only once a day, doing a lot of detox through sweating (infrared sauna and Bikram Yoga) and not eating after 7 pm are helping. Unfortunately for me, eat whatever you want on raw isn't working for me-not to say it won't work for others-that's just me. Hopefully soon I'll have the candida undercontrol and can relax on the fruit more.
When the body has candida overgrowth it means essentially that it's toxic-places to look for the source are diet, stress, lack of exercise and mainly pH imbalance-over acidity. there are many sources to research this more thouroughly-pH miracle folks are really leading the way.

Hi guys,
I've suffered from this in the past, and personally found the following to aggravate it (you probably know all this anyway)
1) Steer well clear of stuff like SLS (Sodium Laurel and Laureth Sulphate) and parabens in your toiletries. I know it's on the outside, but this stuff can create thrush, cystitis and I don't even want to imagine what else it can be doing to the human body. Many websites will tell you its a myth, but as an allergy sufferer who's stopped using it, I know I do better- perfect even- without it along with lots of other people. Maybe some of us are more sensitive than the rabbits and cats they test all these things on
2) Onions, garlic, spices (only in excess though), chillies, excess sugar.
Water, cranberry juice, and gentle foods always helped.
Sorry for if I'm stating the obvious here :-)
