Hemp Products and THC

I was looking at the back of this Hemp balm. (Chap stick) It says on the back: Contains 10ug/g THC or less.

When I was ordering hemp seeds from Nature's First Law they said that there was no THC in them.

I am confused. Does it have it or not.

If it does is it enough to show up in a drug test?

My soap has hemp seed oil in it, I eat hemp seeds, my lip balm.

Well considering a UG is a microgram which is 0.000001 grams (a millionth of a gram), I think you're fine. Some products may actually contain no THC and others may just have such insignificant amounts that they aren't required or don't feel it necessary to list it.

I wouldn't worry about it. There may be traces in the lipbalm but certainly not enough to show up on a drug test, especially since you aren't directly ingesting it or are you? :D Obviously it soaks into the skin, but if it contains "trace amounts" then there is nothing to worry about. We use hemp lip balm and eat hemp seeds. The companies are going to make sure that the hemp seeds they sell do not contain THC because they don't want their customers testing positive on drug tests!

Strains of seed hemp have been naturally selected so as to produce little, if any, THC. These nutritional varieties grow in temperate climates to heights of 14 feet. As with many agricultural grains, their seeds can be harvested in a conventional manner with a combine. Since the most modern handling and shelling of the seed minimizes its contact with the leaf resins, the shelled seed itself and the oil, nut butter, and other foods prepared from the seed have no detectable THC amounts.

I was just thinking about the whole hemp/drug testing thing, and did a quick search and found this thread. You know, I never thought to check if my protein powder (Living Harvest) had any THC...didn't occur to me until recently. So...I just looked. YAY, 0.00%
