Where or where do Get Real RAW Cashews??

Wild Oats sells raw cashews. Where do you get raw macadamia's is what I want to know????

I get mine (mac. nuts)at Trader Joes...Do they have that store where your'e at???
The raw cashews at Wild Oats haven't been heated to open them???

Don't know if the cashews at Wild Oats have been heated to open. I just assumed since they have "regular" cashews and "raw" cashews, that they were really raw. Is that not so? :confused:

Not from what I have read. They can still label them "raw" , even if they have heated them to open them up. But boy...you can taste the difference!! The real raw cashews are so light, creamy and fluffy like compared to the incorrectly labeled "raw" cashews. I have only ever bought them from David Wolf's website, and was wondering if there was any other suppliers that are cheaper? Maybe Alissa would know...she has a bunch of recipes that require cashews:) If nobody else responds I'll pm her and get back to you Nutrimom!
