Tonight I will have the rest of my smoothie that I forgot to bring to work, and I am still aiming to try out my new food processor for the first time.. Thinking to try a recipe "cottage pie" I got out of a raw book...

Oh yes, nectarines. I STILL think they are better than peaches. I never tried them until I became a vegan & I wondered what on Earth took me so long.
they definitely rule over the peaches! :)

So far, 5 Blender sized Smoothies for me
- 2 cups spinach, 1 apple, 1 banana, 1 lime squeezed
- 2 OJ/Mango/Pineapple smoothies
- 2 OJ/Banana/Blueberry
- 1 stalk celery
Plan to eat a head of Romaine tonight. I'm trying this mono thing for awhile to see how it works for me.

Let's see ...
tomato/carrot/celery juice for brekky
waldorf salad & mixed green salad for lunch (apple/tomato/avo/onion/red pepper spinach/romaine/avo/onion/pepper with avo/lemon/oil dressing)
snacked on a clementine -- one left to go
now sipping on a carrot/celery/apple juice I made this morning.
when I get home I'll whip up some spinach/basil pesto and serve on a portabello mushroom.

Rawkinlocs, sounds like a total indulgence, pizza, ice-cream, mmm mmm mmm. Now, where are those critics who say raw foodists deprive themselves?
Me: black muscat grapes. I think I will be having a lot of these today. I bought 20 kgs, so they've got to go! Sweet mmm.

This is such fun, I love reading what everyone is enjoying!
My day so far... (and yes I do eat a lot!)
orange juice
veggie juice-carrot, celery, apple, cabbage, beet (12 oz.)
green smoothie-banana, mixed berries, date, cinnamon, spinach, romaine (20 oz.)
nacho cheeze with veggie sticks
ice cream sandwich (will have another one of these yummy treats tonight!)
several turtles
green salad with mix of veggies and apple cider vinegar for dressing
strawberry-banana vice cream

I didn't eat too much today.. I've been eating less lately, working up to a fast (lemon cleanse).

Tabuli spread on Allissa's veggie crackers. BTW.. What do people normally use Tabuli for?
Two soaked dates.
Ice cream sandwich.

Lots of mono eating going on here.

I've been asked many times, what I eat.
I will share tonite.
This is what I did yesterday 3/29/06
8:30 am
2 bananas
10:30am
cup of sliced carrots
1:30pm
2 heads of romaine no dressing
12oz of mung bean sprouts
half cup of honeydew melon
2 beefsteak tomatoes
handful of raw cashews
6:00pm
1 banana
8:00pm to 9:00pm
Workout
9:30pm
Large bowl of mixed greens olive oil and sea salt.
2 glasses of french red wine
I only drink water during the daytime.

Orange juice with herbalife shake mix and protein mix
salad with walnuts, dried cranberries, feta cheese onions with balsamic vinegarrette dressing
root beer
chocolate bar
raw pizza (from Alyssa's book)
blueberry torte (from Alyssa's book)
coffee
I do need to eliminate soft drinks, and I do need the herbalife shake mix though for protein and energy for right now. The chocolate bar was for comfort.

I'm working on the green smoothie thing (90 Days RAW now, yaaaay!!!)
Breakfast: 32 oz of smoothie with 1 orange, 3 dates, 5 huge collard green leaves and water.
Lunch: salad of baby romaine, green and red peppers, cucumber, cauliflower, vinaigrette made from raw red wine vinegar, olive oil and Herbamare. Alissa's falafals, 3 of them! Dessert: 2 raw chocolate chip cookies. Yummy!
Dinner: Smoothie. 1 pint of strawberries, half a bunch of kale,1 orange and water

So far (I woke up late today! :D )
1/4th of a strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, and raw apple juice smoothie. (I spilled the rest of it on my cream colored carpet!) :eek: That was a pain to clean up!
1 avacado. (I gave a little of it to my three dogs.)
I will probably have a green juice of spinach, celery, cucumber, and parsley.
A salad of some sorts.
Maybe some raw vegan Chocolate Chocolate Chip Nut Cream.
edit: also had 2 banannas.

Well my day -
7am - honey and lemond rink on rising
8am - small piece of rockmelon
10:30am - one banana, grapes and raw macaroon
1pm - half a salad wrap and raw oatmeal slice
4pm - strawberries and raw dippingin chocolate
not sure about dinner yet but probably carrot burgers with curry sauce and lettuce.
On my strenuous exercise days I will eat more but today is a day off - 45 minute walk with the dogs and daughter in pram only.

This is so facinating to see what everyone is eating. Thanks for starting this thread. I've not been feeling well at all today so I haven't had much all day, but here goes.
nut milk
cucumber soup
bowl of nuts, seeds and nut milk
almond butter with celery and carrot sticks
several handfuls of nuts
spinach salad with lots of veggies, avo, and olive oil
another bowl of nuts, seeds and nut milk
Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow and actually keep this food down today. Didn't do so well at keeping the food down last night.

These days I am eating kiwi, avo, oranges, lemons, tomatoes, spinach, celery, zuccini, cukes, almonds, pecans, cashews (sort of), brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, grapes, raisins, lettuce, bananas, apples, carrots, red, green and orange bell peppers......

So far some pumpkin seeds and a salad. I mixed up some mixed bean sprouts, chopped tomato, green onion and chopped bell pepper with some oregano, salt, pepper, lemon juice and a bit of olive oil. I put some of this on a bed of assorted greens and topped with with 4 mini sweet peppers and some walnuts. Will be going out to dinner later and will probably have some greens and assorted veggies topped with fresh raw salsa.

cottage pie dinner (marinated veggies with "mashed potato" on top, which is macadamias and cauliflower and seasoning. I used the new food processor for the first time for this). It was good and one of our kids even liked it.
